Michelle Williams is a winner!
The 45-year-old actress won the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role in Dying for Sex at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 11).
Despite the win, Michelle wasn’t in attendance at the ceremony to accept her trophy and we now know why she skipped the event.
Keep reading to find out more…Michelle is currently appearing in a limited run of the play Anna Christie in Brooklyn, New York through February 1. She plays the title role in the Eugene O’Neill drama, which also stars Tom Sturridge and Brian d’Arcy James.
This is now the third Golden Globe Michelle has won. She first won in 2011 for her role in the movie My Week With Marilyn and she won again in 2019 for her role in the limited series Fosse/Verdon.
