Vanessa Williams got candid about taking “game-changer” weight-loss drugs.

Williams, 62, opened up about taking Mounjaro for two years while chatting with Hello Magazine on Monday, January 12. “It’s a game‑changer,” she said of the medication, which is an injection made for Type-2 diabetes that also causes weight-loss. The actress explained, “When I turned 60, I was like, ‘I want to be here for a long time, and I want to look my best. So what am I going to do?’”

Williams also explained that her “fifties were hard” on her body. “I started perimenopause in my late forties but suddenly, at 51, it’s crazy how your body changes,” she told the publication. “You feel out of control because you’re working out the same way, eating the same, and your body is not reacting the way it used to.”

Also to help feel her best, Williams went on Hormone Replacement Therapy, which helps relieve menopause symptoms. She also started on NAD+ injections, which promotes cell energy, reduces signs of aging and more. “Science is amazing,” she praised. “I’m like, ‘What’s next? Bring it on!’”

Serena Williams is showing off her 31-pound weight loss after going on the GLP-1 medication Ro. “I feel great,” Williams, 43, told People in an interview published on Thursday, August 21. “I feel really good and healthy. I feel light physically and light mentally.” The retired tennis pro explained that she decided to try weight-loss […]

When it comes to her physical appearance, Williams takes care of her skin by using a facial treatment called P5, courtesy of Dr. Sach Mohan. The treatment is an updated version of the viral vampire facial and uses hyaluronic acid to further hydrate the skin. (A vampire facial is when a patient gets their blood drawn and spun to separate platelet-rich fibrin and is then injected back into the face. It rejuvenates the skin, improves tone and texture, as well as fine lines and scars.)

“I’ve done it three times and definitely see a difference,” Williams said, noting that she also uses a Ziip device to help tighten and plump her face. “It was created by the makeup artist Melanie Simon, who I worked with when I was doing Desperate Housewives,” Williams shared. “She sent me one and I’ve been using it for 15 years.”

Another star who recently opened up about weight-loss medications is Serena Williams, who used GLP-1 to achieve her desired look and lose 31 pounds.

“I feel great,” she told People in August. “I feel really good and healthy. I feel light physically and light mentally.”

The tennis pro explained that after welcoming daughter Olympia in 2017, she was “never” able to reach the weight she “needed.” (Williams shares Olympia, now 8, and Adria, 2, with husband Alexis Ohanian.)

“It was crazy because I’d never been in a place like that in my life where I worked so hard, ate so healthy and could never get down to where I needed to be at,” Serena shared. “I had never taken shortcuts in my career and always worked really hard. I know what it takes to be the best.”
