Although he was intentionally going for a more muted look, Domingo added a bit of razzle dazzle by pairing his impeccably tailored Valentino suit with a little sparkle. “It’s dripping in Boucheron jewelry,” the actor purrs. Domingo’s Boucheron brooches will be featured in the upcoming Histoire de Style High Jewelry collection, which will officially be unveiled on January 26, 2026, in Paris, during couture week. “I’s really beautiful. It’s all these diamonds that are cascading an ivy leaf from my lapel all the way over my shoulder.”

Days before the Golden Globes, Boucheron announced that Domingo had joined the French beauty house as the newest Friend of the Maison, making him the first American to hold that title. “Maybe I’m limiting myself by saying [this] because I’m a 56-year-old African American man, but I think that it’s extraordinary,” he says. “I think things like this are usually reserved for younger people.” Domingo feels aligned with Boucheron in every way: “I love their history, their storied history when it comes to jewels,” he says. “I feel really amazing when I wear it.”

Domingo’s diamond- and ivy-inspired look got a moment in the spotlight when he and Diane Lane stood arm in arm to present the best actor in a drama film award to The Secret Agent’s Wagner Moura. Domingo may take the award stages in another capacity next season: in 2026, he’ll appear in the highly anticipated return of HBO’s Euphoria, as well as the buzzy Michael Jackson biopic Michael.
Domingo is “feeling good” about the forthcoming film. He stars as Joe Jackson, the Jackson family’s controversial patriarch, opposite newcomer (and Michael Jackson’s actual nephew) Jafar Jackson as the King of Pop. The two actors have been getting lunch together to prepare for the media circus that will kick off once Michael is released April 24. “I’m making sure that everyone is just really about getting this movie out with so much love,” says Domingo, who tried to save time for introspection in the leadup to the film’s release: a moment “to just really be chill, and look within, and really be intentional about the way I’m going to take care of these films that I love so much.”
