Kendall Jenner is setting the record — well, straight.

During a candid appearance on the“In Your Dreams” podcast with host Owen Thiele on Friday, January 9, the supermodel, 30, addressed long-standing rumors about her sexuality that have circulated online for years. While Kendall made it clear that she doesn’t identify as gay, she explained that it’s not the speculation itself that bothers her most — it’s the cruelty that often comes with it.

“Then there’s the whole side of the internet that thinks I’m a lesbian,” Kendall told Thiele. “You want to know what really bothers me? How mean people are about it. It’s not kind. It’s very mean.”

Kendall emphasized that if she were gay, she wouldn’t feel the need to hide it. Acknowledging that coming out can be deeply personal and difficult, she added, “I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody,” before noting that she believes she would be open about it if that were her truth. “Knowing myself, like I think at this point in my life I’d be out if I was.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum also pushed back on the narrative that she’s concealing her sexuality for professional reasons. “I think that there’s this whole narrative that I’m hiding this thing,” Kendall said. “I’ve seen really f**ked up things that are like, ‘It’s bad for business,’ and I’m like, ‘What? How?’”

Ultimately, Kendall made her stance clear. “All’s to say, as of today, I am not,” she concluded. “I don’t think I will be, but I’m not closing doors to experiences in life.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Kendall admitted she’s reached a point where outside opinions no longer hold the same power over her. “As I get older, the less of a f**k I give,” she said bluntly. “It doesn’t help…when you’re just looking at things that might make you feel weirdly bad about yourself.”

Her comments come as Kendall continues to navigate fame on her own terms, striking a careful balance between honesty and privacy. Over the years, she’s been romantically linked to high-profile names including Harry Styles, NBA star Devin Booker and, most recently, Bad Bunny, though the pair reportedly split in 2023.

That boundary-setting extends beyond her dating life. Kendall recently welcomed fans into her world through Architectural Digest’s Open Door series, where she showed off her custom-built mountain home — a space she also referenced on the podcast. “It was really, truly, an experimental house for me,” she said, describing the “Grandma Chic” retreat. “I think I definitely built this house more for my friends than I did for myself,” she added, noting that it was designed to be filled with people.

Still, when it comes to romance, Kendall has always preferred to keep things off-camera. In 2021, KUWTK executive producer Farnaz Farjam explained that choice, saying, “Kendall’s always had this rule — she felt like she had to be with someone for at least a year before she let them be a part of the show because she doesn
