Peacock is making a series adaptation of Excavations by Kate Myers. The series, titled Dig, has cast Amy Poehler, Hugh Laurie, and Geraldine Viswanathan. It will also reunite Poehler with Parks and Recreation co-creator Mike Schur, as Poehler and Schur co-wrote the pilot and will act as executive producers.
Series description: “[Dig] follows four women working at an archaeological dig in Greece who are at wildly different crossroads in their lives. When the team uncovers a long-buried secret with the potential to rewrite history, they find themselves at the center of a high-stakes conspiracy.”
