Rapper Cardi B is adding a little bit of extra sparkle to her life.
On December 4, New York City-based body piercer Robbie Milian posted about giving the rapper her latest piercings.
In the caption of the post, Milian wrote, “Fresh back dermal implants, and surface neck, nape piercing for @iamcardib, loving the vibe!”
In the video, Cardi B is shown sitting for the piercings and having fun socializing with the piercing shop’s employees.
Near the end of the video, after the piercings are finished, the rapper is seen imitating her song “Hello” with one of the shop’s employees.
The two shouted out a call-and-response of the lyrics “Hello!” “It’s me!” back and forth.
Then they each said the lyric “I’m back!” before Cardi added “The back for real! It was the back!” while turning around and pointing to her brand new back piercings as they laughed.
This is far from Milian’s first time piercing a big celebrity.
On his Instagram, Milian proudly shows off the times he gave Travis Barker a nostril piercing, Noah Cyrus nipple piercings, and Ayesha Curry a series of ear piercings.
His Instagram bio describes him as a “Purveyor of Precision Body Piercings” now trusted by some of the biggest stars.
Cardi B is also no stranger to body jewelry, with multiple ear piercings, a lip piercing, a tongue piercing, and a belly button piercing in addition to her latest back and neck mods.
Perhaps most controversial of all, though, was the rapper’s revelation on X in January that she had gotten her butt crack pierced.
In September, she went into more detail about the experience when she was a guest on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
“It cost me like $13,000 because it was real diamonds,” she shared. “And guess what? It went down the toilet.”
The podcast’s host, Alex Cooper, asked in disbelief how long it took for her to lose the jewelry.
“It was like a month,” Cardi B explained. “But then I realized I was like, ‘Hold on.’ And it’s like, uh, then I was looking around. And I was looking at my pants and my panties and stuff, and I’m like, ‘Yep, went down the toilet.’”
Hopefully, the rapper’s newest piercings are more secure and don’t result in any more jewelry losses to the plumbing system!
