A year to the day of the CEO’s murder (what is time), Luigi Mangione was in court for the third time this week. Today, the courtroom heard from Patrolman Tyler Frye.
Some notes:
-Luigi was also eating a Steak McMuffin when they found him
-More discussion of the contents of his backpack (see below)
-As he was arrested under the pretence of using a fake ID, Luigi apologized to the officers for the “inconvenience”
-A bus ticket was found in his pockets under the name Sam Dawson, for a route from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh, dated Dec. 4, 2024
-He was strip searched at the police station
-The court watched body cam footage of his arrest
-His lawyers point out that strip searching someone for a fake ID was a bit much
He’ll be back in court tomorrow, and next week too.
BREAKING: Several exhibits in Luigi Mangione’s case have been unsealed.
The exhibits include numerous photos showing that when Mangione was arrested last year, he had thousands of dollars in cash, a blue medical mask, a laptop, and other items with him. pic.twitter.com/A0xtFZmvLK
