    Rumors have been swirling that Ja Rule was jumped in New York City, and the rapper is setting the record straight about what really happened.

    Was Rapper Ja Rule Jumped in New York City?

    The rumor began when social media user Tasha K claimed that Ja Rule was jumped outside of a restaurant in New York City. “BREAKING! I Just got word that Ja Rule was Jumped TONIGHT outside of New York Restaurant Sei Less! I’m being told it was pretty phucking bad! | Story Developing…” she wrote via X on November 20, 2025.

    One day after the speculation spread, Ja Rule insisted he was not jumped by directly responding to Tasha K via X. “Tasha why you lying to these good ppl,” he wrote in a quote tweet. “Yes some bitch a** n****s tried to jump me, not it wasn’t at Sei less and I’m chilling smoking a joint watching SVP wit not a scratch on me.”

    While Ja Rule insisted he wasn’t involved in the alleged incident, Tasha K responded by saying she believed that he was jumped.

    “As I said [Ja Rule] story developing,” she wrote in another post on X. “Bottom line, I heard you got your a** beat… ain’t nobody lie on you… this is why I thought it was Sei Less… they ran down on you tho… Glad you ok!! #Receipts.”

    Tasha K then shared screenshots of people sending messages to her in which they claimed Ja Rule was jumped, as well as a video of an unidentified man in an altercation that Tasha K believed was the “Mesmerize” rapper.

    On November 21, 2025, Tasha K shared another X post in which she claimed that Ja Rule knew “my team was there” at the time of the alleged altercation.

    “And I was halfway sleep last night when I got the text. I have the deets on what really happened & the location. I’m up now ready to spill some wine! I will discuss Fat Joe being too fat to help you fight last night tonight on my show! The video is at the end of the fight! Ain’t nobody got to lie Craig!!! Tonight we discuss Has Been
    Rappers getting jumped tonight at 7pm est on X, Facebook, BiGO, & YouTube!” she continued in the post. “Everything is allegedly! Even my name is allegedly!!”

    Ja Rule stood by his stance when he responded, “You like getting sued I see.”

    The “Furious” artist wasn’t done sharing his side of the story, and he took to X to upload a video of himself laughing as he took a sip from a mug. “Believe half of what you see and none of what you read… we good over here!!!” he captioned the post.
