Harry Lloyd is the latest new addition to the cast of the upcoming four-part The Beatles biopic.
The 42-year-old actor Game of Thrones actor has been cast to portray the band’s producer George Martin, who was often referred to as the fifth Beatle, according to Variety.

George‘s son Giles Martin revealed the news during an interview this past week.
“He’s really good. He’s very committed,” Giles said on the Ryan Tybridy Show on Virgin Radio UK.
George was a classically trained musician who was heavily involved in The Beatles‘ original albums, writing most of the orchestral and string arrangements, as well as playing piano or keyboards on a number of songs.
Throughout his career, George produced 30 No 1 hit singles in the UK and 23 in the USA, with six Grammy wins. He passed away at 90 years old in 2016.
Harry Lloyd joins the cast of the movies that includes Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Harris Dickinson and Joseph Quinn as The Beatles, as well as Saoirse Ronan, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Anna Sawai and Aimee Lou Wood as their love interests.
The upcoming project – The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event – is set to hit theaters in April 2028 and is being directed by Sam Mendes.
