Kourtney Kardashian is celebrating a major milestone for the love of her life. The reality star showered husband Travis Barker with affection on November 14 as the Blink-182 drummer officially turned 50, sharing a heartfelt Instagram tribute that had fans swooning.
“Happy 50th birthday to my handsome husband!!” Kourtney, 46, wrote alongside photos of the couple posing with Travis’ vintage star-shaped white cake and another sweet shot of them wrapped in an embrace. She went on to list all the qualities she admires most about him, writing, “Grateful, generous, real, raw, dedicated, devoted, family man, talented, survivor, everything… just some of the words used to describe you by those who know you best!”
For Kourtney, those traits are exactly why Travis has become the center of their blended family. The pair share one son together — Rocky, 2 — and have seamlessly brought together their older kids: Travis’ children Landon, 22, Alabama, 19, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 26, plus Kourtney’s kids Mason, 15, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick.
Calling Travis “The leader of our family” and “My home,” the Lemme founder told followers just how much he inspires her. “You inspire me every single day to be a better person,” she wrote, before ending her tribute with a sentimental note about their relationship. “It is an honor to be your wife, and the greatest joy to live life by your side. I am so happy to celebrate you today baby! I love you beyond any words could ever tell.”
Travis made sure to match the energy in the comments, replying, “I love you so much my wife. Thank you for making everyday feel like a blessing 🖤.” Even Kim Kardashian jumped in, writing, “Happy Birthday Travis!!!!!”
Of course, Kourtney didn’t wait for his actual birthday to start the festivities. Earlier in the week, she surprised Travis with an ultra-romantic dinner at home, complete with hundreds of white balloons and candles illuminating their walkway. “My husband is turning 50!!” she gushed on her Instagram Story on November 12, explaining she “threw him a birthday dinner to celebrate.”
The month has been full of family celebrations for the Barkers. On November 1, Travis posted a sweet tribute for their son Rocky’s second birthday, writing, “Happy Birthday my Rocky 13 🖤. You’re such a special soul, and you make every day brighter. I love you.” Kourtney also honored the day with an intimate photo from Rocky’s birth, cuddling her newborn in a hospital bed.
