“I wish maybe we would have had less alcohol in our systems just because of all the water works. But even watching the episode back, it was even moving for me,” Alex told Us Weekly. “I think we both said what we needed to say, and then some. We’re both just in really good places in our lives right now, and I don’t think there’s much more than that we can ask for other than that.”

She added that the conversation wasn’t awkward at all and she felt more comfortable because her current boyfriend was there. Alex noted that after she found out Tyler was going to be there, she would not have even gone on the trip if her boyfriend wasn’t going.

For his part, Tyler says that that story “just kind of went on and on and on. I think there’s so much that is tough to tell in an 8-episode series, let alone one episode. Our relationship was very nuanced, and I think we finally got to the bottom of everything, and kind of left that chapter in the past.”

“It was emotional. The last couple years were really tough. I got divorced. There was a bunch of personal things and it just, Hall was a big character in that whole season of life,” Tyler continued to Us Weekly. “So, as much as I was.. it was just emotional. We were talking about a lot of things. It felt like the closure of so much and the culmination of just a lot of hard work coming to fruition.”

He added that he’s in a “beautiful relationship” and work is great.

If you recall, Tyler left the Oppenheim Group in October 2023, and joined his dad and brother at Douglas Elliman.
