Universal Studios has announced that Sabrina Carpenter will be producing and starring in a new film based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, to be directed by Lorene Scafaria (Hustlers). Carpenter approached the studio a year ago regarding this, which is apparently a dream project of hers that she had already prepared a pitch and a lookbook for.
