It seems like Scott Disick will no longer be packing his bags for New York City.

In a new clip from The Kardashians, Disick revealed that a recent talk with his and Kourtney Kardashian‘s son Mason has him reconsidering his big move.

“I talked to Mace and he’s like, ‘you can’t actually move,’” Disick shared with Khloe Kardashian as they sat on the patio together.

He then explained that he realized his plan for Mason to move with him and for his other kids to come stay with him on long weekends would be very complicated and difficult to plan out.

Khloe agreed with Disick, who then clarified that he had been getting serious about the move and even sold his boat in preparation, but was now reconsidering.

“I was getting prepared, but I realized there was no way I could actually do both,” he said in the clip, referring to moving to New York while still maintaining a good relationship with his kids.

“Yeah, that’s ridiculous,” Khloe then responded.

In Khloe’s confessional, she then added that she felt the entire idea was “an impulsive conversation” that’s typical of Disick, and that she was “thrilled” he had seemingly changed his mind.

This referenced a conversation the pair had earlier in this season of the show, where Disick first proposed the move to Khloe.

After asking Khloe if he could run something by her, he said, “So, I’ve been thinking about it for a minute. And you know, the fires were kinda crazy and everything. I feel like California’s been pretty crazy. I think I might move back to New York.”

Naturally, Khloe protested the idea and asked if Disick really thought his kids would be okay with his plan.

“Well, I don’t know,” Disick said at the time. “I’d have to figure out the plan of how often I would see my kids, obviously. That would be the biggest factor. But I do kind of feel like that’s what I want to do.”

Now, after talking to Mason, it seems the big move is off–at least for now while his kids are still young.
