Millie Bobby Brown just gave fans the sweetest update about her Stranger Things family. The actress revealed that her longtime costar and best friend, Noah Schnapp, is the godfather to her baby daughter.
The adorable news came out at the Stranger Things season 5 premiere in Los Angeles, when Millie, 21, was asked by Entertainment Tonight which castmate she trusts most to babysit. While she said Sadie Sink is the most “maternal,” she casually dropped the reveal that Noah holds the special title.
“They all turn into the most gooey, soft version of themselves — their baby voice comes out when they’re around her, so it’s amazing,” Millie gushed.
Millie and Noah’s friendship has been one of Hollywood’s favorite off-screen bonds since the very first season of Stranger Things. The pair met as kids on set in 2015 and have remained inseparable ever since — often praising each other in interviews and sharing sweet moments on social media.

When asked about Millie’s adoption news, Noah couldn’t hide his excitement. “I’m just really happy for her,” he told E! News in September 2025, adding, “I’m really excited to see her flourish with that.”
Noah also admitted earlier this year that he’s always been “hard” on Millie’s boyfriends — until he met her now-husband, Jake Bongiovi. “It was the first one where I was like, ‘You know what, I approve. I’m okay with this long term,’” he joked at the Stranger Things: The First Shadow Broadway opening in April. “And it ended up being the long term, so I approve very much.”
Millie and Jake, 23, the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, tied the knot in 2024 in a ceremony officiated by her Stranger Things co-star Matthew Modine. They later shared the sweetest surprise in August 2025: they’d welcomed a baby girl through adoption.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” Millie wrote on Instagram. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were three.”
Before welcoming their daughter, Millie had been open about her dream of starting a family. During a March appearance on the SmartLess podcast, she shared, “Jake knows how important it is to me [to have children]… I really want a big family. I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So it is definitely in our future.”
