Britney Spears has hit pause on Instagram after posting a string of cryptic updates.

The “Gimme More” singer deleted her Instagram account following posts about her health and her sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.

Among her most striking posts was one from Oct. 19, where Britney reflected on her 2018 rehab stay during her 13-year conservatorship. She described the experience as “traumatic,” writing, “for 4 months I no longer had my private door and illegally was forced to not use my feet or body to go anywhere.”

She went on to explain the deep physical and emotional impact: “For a person like me who understands the sacredness is god speed… it did more than hurt my body. I do feel the logic and mindfulness in my body as ONE was 100 percent murdered and destroyed… I do feel like my wings were taken away and brain damage happened to me a long time ago 100 percent.”

Britney, whose conservatorship under her father Jamie Spears ended in 2021, also shared playful yet cryptic posts on other social media accounts. On Oct. 23, she posted a TikTok video dancing while sipping from a teacup in a plaid mini skirt and crop top. She captioned it: “My kids have known me as Saint Mother Theresa , for 15 years mom was the sister. I’m the daughter you’re the parent !!! Get it straight teacher … can I come to your class mamma I have my schoolgirl outfit on … let’s go shopping first thing.”

Earlier in October, Britney addressed the bandages she wore on her wrists and leg, explaining they were from a minor accident after her sons returned to Hawaii with Kevin and his wife, Victoria Prince. “My boys had to leave and go back to Maui,” she wrote Oct. 7. “This is the way I express myself and pray through art … father who art in heaven … I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day !!!”

She added with a touch of humor: “Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house. It was horrible.”

The flurry of posts came amid the release of Kevin Federline’s memoir You Thought You Knew, which reportedly details a strained relationship between Britney and their sons. Britney responded directly on X (formerly Twitter) on Oct. 15, calling his allegations “extremely hurtful and exhausting.”

“I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys. Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life,” she wrote. Britney claims that one son has seen her only 45 minutes in the past five years, while the other visited just four times.

She concluded passionately: “I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here. I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past 5 years. I speak on this because I have had enough and any real woman would do the same.”
