Travis Kelce just hit a major career milestone — and celebrated it in true Taylor Swift fashion.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end scored his 100th career touchdown — including playoff games — during the team’s Oct. 27 matchup against the Washington Commanders, and Swifties immediately noticed his post-touchdown celebration. Instead of his usual spike or flex, Travis broke into a dance that fans instantly recognized: the same choreography from Swift’s “Fate of Ophelia” music video.
As cameras caught the moment, Travis jumped up and down, moved his arms up and down, and shimmied — a clear nod to his fiancée’s latest Tortured Poets Department era. The move sent the crowd (and the internet) into a frenzy, with fans dubbing it the ultimate “Taylor-coded” touchdown.
But even with the history-making play, the NFL star is staying humble.

“I’m just the lucky old dog that’s still able to do this thing,” Travis told SportsCenter after the game. “I’m putting on the pads like I’m 15 years old again. I’m loving every single bit of it.”
Now in his 13th NFL season, the 35-year-old athlete said he’s found a way to keep the game fun while staying focused on winning. “I like to fill people with happiness and excitement and get the things fixed that need to get fixed,” he said. “At the same time, bring some swagger or bring some excitement, bring some fun.”
Of course, no Travis Kelce touchdown celebration would be complete without Taylor cheering him on from the stands. The 14-time Grammy winner made a surprise appearance at Arrowhead Stadium to watch her fiancé play, joining Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, in a luxury suite.
Wearing a cozy red turtleneck — a subtle nod to both the Chiefs and her own Red era — Taylor was filmed jumping and cheering alongside Brittany after Travis’ big moment.
It’s no secret that the pop superstar has fully embraced life as an NFL fan since dating Travis. During her New Heights podcast appearance in August, Taylor hilariously confessed that she’s gone from football novice to full-on enthusiast.
“I became a person who is running through the halls of my house screaming, ‘We drafted Xavier Worthy!’” she said, referencing the Chiefs’ rookie wide receiver. “My friends are like, ‘Who body snatched you? What do you mean?’”
And though Taylor admitted she’s still learning the ins and outs of the sport, she’s clearly committed to understanding the game — and celebrating every win alongside her man.
“I’m not ready to be an analyst right now,” she teased, “but give me 16 months.”
