Simon Cowell is looking for a new band!
The America’s Got Talent judge has been tapped as a judge for the taping of a potential new series, Who’s In the Band, for ABC, Deadline reports.

Sitting next to him for a proof of concept taping will be his fellow AGT judge Mel B, former The Voice Australia coach Joe Jonas, and famed songwriter/producer Savan Kotecha.

The potential new series is in search for the next One Direction, who Simon famously helped form on The X Factor.
According to casting materials, the series will put a twist on the competition genre, “with singers performing the same song, at the same time, in different colored tubes.”
The taping will be taking place NEXT Thursday (October 30) in London.
Joe has a busy week ahead, as in addition to the show’s taping, he’s also performing concerts up and down the east coast in the United States, including a show on Wednesday (October 29) in North Carolina, and a special DNCE Halloween concert on Friday (October 31) in Florida.
If you didn’t know, Simon has another new show coming to Netflix later this year, where he is also looking for a new music superstar!
