Over the past few days, rumors have been rampant that Ariana Grande and SpongeBob are DUNZO!
Most of these rumors are coming from “sources” and the tabloids.
The Express US reported that the two were to attend the Ragtime opening at Lincoln Center in New York. A source told Rob Shuter, “They were confirmed. Their names were printed on the guest list. Seats were held. Then, hours before curtain, word came – they weren’t coming. No explanation. Just silence.”
As rumors about their relationship continue, one friend insisted their relationship is “not over” but is “rocky.”
“She’s operating in a different world – private jets, studios, movie sets. He’s still a theater guy. That gap’s getting harder to bridge,” they added.
Another sorce added that Ethan is struggling to adjust to Ariana’s fame. “He adores her,” but added that “the dynamic’s changed. She’s global – he’s feeling small.”
The Daily Fail reported: “At one time, they discussed marriage, but that is no longer on the table. They fell head over heels in love when they first hooked up. But those days are over.”
An insider claimed their relationship is “more than a little toxic” but they are “keeping it together for now.”
They also claimed the two might break up after Wicked: For Good is released, as their relationship is “unhealthy for both.”
BuzzFeed reported that both have continued to like each other’s social media posts.
