Lilly Singh hosted her fifth annual Diwali party on Friday night (October 17) in Los Angeles, just a few days before the official October 20 holiday.
The 37-year-old award-winning actress chose Love & Light: A Royal Affair as the theme of this year’s celebration of the Hindu festival.

In celebration of Diwali, the YouTuber shared a post on Instagram to thank the many people who helped make her party such a massive success.
“I’m still buzzing over Love & Light: A Royal Affair, my 5th annual Diwali party in LA. Every year, I have one goal: foster community. I’ve gotten older and seen the world encourage us to isolate and divide, I’ve really put an emphasize on building safe spaces for people to come together and feel a part of something. I truly believe community is the medicine we all need,” she wrote.
For those unfamiliar, Diwali is a major holiday in Indian culture. Lilly takes pride in immersing her guests in a private, extravagant, and lively evening where they are inclined to celebrate and indulge in the principles of Diwali: love and light.

There were many celebrities in attendance at this year’s party, including Chappell Roan, Victoria Justice, Ruby Rose, Ashley Park, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Francia Raisa, and Hayley Kiyoko.
