Upcoming Saturday Night Live musical guest Shane Michael Boose, also known as Sombr, has recently received some backlash from fans after responding to one fan’s criticism of his show that she attended. The 25-year-old fan stated that the show she attended was comprised mostly of “tweens”; Boose himself is 20 years old.

“A particular segment, the ‘Sombr Dating Show’, where fans called their exes on stage, was highlighted as ‘secondhand embarrassment in real time’. She also accused Sombr of making ‘super vulgar stuff about getting his d**k sucked’ and requesting fans to ‘bark for me,’ deeming it inappropriate for his young audience.”

The fan referred to the musician as “Slenderman” during her video, prompting him to decry her criticism as leading to a “body-shaming hate train” in his response, also stating: “…a 25-year-old attended my concert and was basically complaining that there were too many tweens there, I was making too many brain rot jokes, and she just thought it was a cringe concert.”

“If you’re 25 years old and you’re going to come to my concert and not expect people younger than you to be there, it’s just a skill issue.”

ONTD, have you ever been to a show where a 20-year-old man asked tweens to bark for him?
