Lilly Contino is a TikTok influencer who is known for her videos about her gender transition and experiences with being misgendered.
The San Francisco-based content creator, who goes by “lillytino” on the app, often does live streams while dining in restaurants and has gone viral for videos in which she gets misgendered by wait staff.
Amid backlash for her videos, Lilly announced a social media break on July 2, 2025. Three months later, she has returned to TikTok and says that she will have a new attitude moving forward.

“I’m back. Long time no see. The last time you saw me, I was talking about taking a break, and I did take a break,” Lilly said on TikTok on Tuesday (October 7).
She continued, “While I was gone, I did some reflecting on the way that I’ve been approaching things and figured something out. And that something is that I’ve been leading with anger. I kind of already knew that before, but I’ve been leading with anger, specifically that I don’t want to lead with anger. I think that’s a really easy trap to fall into, to let anger be the fuel because there’s a lot of anger to around, especially being a trans person in this day and age. But I don’t want it anymore, because it makes me unhappy. It’s easier said than done, but the goal is to lead with kindness. So that’s what I’m going to do, not just in making content, but in everything that I do.”
Lilly says that she’s going to resume her live streams and will be showing off her new obsession with Disney card packs. She’ll also go back to streaming at restaurants.
