While appearing on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, host Amanda Hirsch said to Hilaria, “I heard from Julianne Hough that you manifested this, like you made it.”
Hilaria responded, “I love Julianne. I don’t know where she got that from. I loved it. Because I saw that too, and I was like, ‘That’s not how it happened.’ But I love that story, I actually love that story. I wish I had manifested it… I guess it depends on which way you look at it.”
Hilaria has previously said that she never thought she could be on the show as she has previous dance experience. She told Page Six that she got a call “out of the blue” to be on the show and was “on a plane” to Los Angeles just “a few days later.”
“That’s actually not true. I did not campaign. It was, like, not on my radar,” she told Page Six. “A few days before [the announcement], they called me and were like, ‘Do you wanna do this?’ And I just made a spur-of-the-moment decision. I had to move my whole family out here [to Los Angeles] last minute. So, you heard it here first. That is the true story.”
Hilaria just shut down speculation about her marriage as well.
