Taylor is known for successfully arguing for fair artist pay with Apple Music in 2015, re-recorded songs to own her masters, and has several points in her career emphasized the importance of artists getting paid properly. Perhaps she only meant herself.

On October 4th, fans who searched Taylor’s name on Google were greeted with mysterious “orange doors” and a QR code that led to exclusive YouTube Shorts. The videos depict surreal scenes tied to clues about her new album. What began as an exciting scavenger hunt soured once fans and Redditors realized the videos were AI-generated.

    • [0:02-0:03] The horse carousel in the beginning, the horses looked attached incorrectly.
    • [0:05-0:09] One of the rear horses in the carousel appears to have two heads: one that faces the “correct” way, and another that faces backwards.
    • [0:10] The whiskey glass has a shadow but not the champagne glass.
    • [0:12-0:14] The bartender’s finger merges with the napkin
    • [0:20] When the ferris wheel starts moving, the motifs start to look blurry and unclear (like they are “moving”)
    • [0:30] The clothes hanger behind the fur coat vanish, when the “camera” zooms in on the T label.
    • There are 2 lamps on the left side of the bar at the beginning overhead shot, become a six on the bar by the end.
