Catherine Paiz is officially married to Igor Ten — and her ex-husband Austin McBroom was noticeably absent, though, as he explained, it was entirely on him.

The couple tied the knot on September 27, 2025, in a gorgeous ceremony that included her kids, close friends, and family. Catherine and Igor first debuted their relationship on Instagram in November 2024 and announced their engagement earlier this month.

When she first revealed she was engaged in August 2025, McBroom explained on stream that she had extended him an invite on behalf of their children. “She told me the kids want me to go, so she extended an invite, which I appreciate. She also said if I didn’t go, she completely understands why. I feel like I have no reason not to go because if my kids want me to be there, I will always support. I also think it will be fun, and out of everything, I am really happy the kids get to be a part of a wedding,” he said.

However, things quickly changed after McBroom made some remarks on stream that were interpreted as being about Igor — who is from Brazil and reportedly needs a visa to stay in the U.S. — seemingly suggesting the marriage was rushed for immigration reasons.

During one of his livestreams in early September, Austin admitted he could have expressed his thoughts differently, acknowledging that his comments didn’t sit well with Catherine or Igor. “I don f****d up. I don f****d up chat,”* he said. “I did. I did. I admit it. I got my wedding invitation revoked, damn! I guess in my last stream, I said some things, not some things, I said one thing that I probably shouldn’t have said, or maybe I could have said in a different way. But I promise you that I did not have bad intentions. If you guys really watched my full stream, I really was showing my love and I really was praising the both of them, Catherine and Igor, genuinely.”

He later acknowledged making a comment he “probably shouldn’t have” but stated he had no bad intentions toward the couple.

McBroom and Paiz share three children: Elle, 9, Alaïa, 6, and Steel, 5. The former couple announced their divorce in January 2024 after rising to fame documenting their life as part of the ACE Family, one of YouTube’s most popular family vlogs. The couple launched their channel in 2016, gaining over 18 million subscribers with videos featuring pranks, challenges, and daily life with their kids. They announced they would step away from YouTube in 2022 to focus on traveling with their children.

During their time in the spotlight, Paiz and McBroom also faced legal, financial, and personal controversies, including the foreclosure of their $10.1 million Los Angeles mansion in October 2021, according to Business Insider. Their divorce announcement in 2024 was shared in separate, since-deleted Instagram posts, with McBroom calling it “one of the hardest decisions of my life.” Despite the split, he initially appeared supportive of attending her wedding for the sake of their children — until his comments led to the revoked invite.
