Brooks Nader is opening up about her past relationships!
The 28-year-old Love Thy Nader star and model is sharing her experience moving to New York City at 18 and sharing the advice her dad gave her that lead to her marrying her ex-husband Billy Haire.

Brooks spoke to People in an interview published Wednesday (September 10). In the interview, Brooks revealed that she was on her own with no financial support when she moved to New York City.
“When I moved to New York, my dad was like, ‘You’re living a full-ride scholarship. I have no money to support your life in New York. You better find a boyfriend,’” Brooks joked to the publication. She continued on, referencing her relationship with 39-year-old Billy when she said, “Which I did, thank God, for just the rent purposes.”
The two split in 2024 after close to five years of marriage. Brooks opened up about how getting married so young caused problems for her in the dating world.
“I’m fresh off of a divorce, and when we started filming, I was very much so childlike in relationships,” Brooks told the publication. “Because I met my ex-husband when I was 18 and I was with him until I was 27, so he was my first date. So I never dated, I had no experience, I didn’t know what love-bombing was. I was so not well-versed in relationships.”
