    The suspect accused of shooting and killing Charlie Kirk has reportedly been found.

    Tyler Robinson was identified as the shooter on Friday morning (September 12) after a two-day manhunt, in Utah.

    Keep reading to find out more…Robinson, 22, is from Washington in Utah, not far from Utah Valley University in Orem where Charlie, 31, was shot and killed during his The American Comeback Tour rally event, NBC reported, citing five senior law enforcement sources.

    Before Robinson‘s identity was reported, it was revealed that a suspect was taken into custody in St. George, Utah around 11pm local time by police.

    While appearing on Fox & Friends on Friday morning, President Donald Trump confirmed that a suspect was in police custody and shared some background details about him.

    “I think that with a high degree of certainty we have him in custody,” Trump said, before sharing how the suspect was turned in.

    “And essentially went to the father, went to a US marshal, who was fantastic, by the way,” Trump explained. “The person was involved with law enforcement but was a person of faith, a minister, and brought him to a US marshal who was fantastic … They drove him to the police headquarters.”

    “I hope he gets the death penalty,” he added.

    Trump also recently shared an update on Charlie Kirk‘s wife is doing following her husband’s death.
