Derek Hough has landed the new hosting job over at Extra, but there’s one aspect of the gig that makes him a bit nervous and he’s “dreading” that the day may one day come.

The 40-year-old DWTS judge and new Extra host revealed that he’s nervous about having an awkward interview with a celebrity.
“The thing I’m most nervous about is having that awkward interview. Where you ask a question and they just don’t want to be there,” he told EW. “For me, whenever I do interviews, I’m always very grateful to be in a position where I’m being interviewed. It means that I’m still working. So, I haven’t been in a situation where the relationship, if you will, is one-sided. So, I’m just dreading the day that happens, if it ever does.”
