Camila Cabello has nothing but love for Fifth Harmony — even if she wasn’t part of their big reunion.
The “Havana” singer showed major support for her former bandmates after Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui and Dinah Jane reunited on stage for the first time in seven years. The epic moment went down during the Jonas Brothers’ Dallas concert on Aug. 31, and fans everywhere couldn’t believe their eyes.
The four members of Fifth Harmony lit up the stage with their hit 2015 track “Worth It,” rocking coordinating black outfits and nailing their signature choreography like no time had passed at all. On Instagram, the group posted a video of the performance with the caption, “Where were you on August 31, 2025? Thank you @jonasbrothers for having us. Felt amazing to be back.”
Naturally, fans lost it in the comments — but it was Camila’s subtle reaction that really caught attention. The 27-year-old, who left the group in 2016, dropped four heart emojis under the post, proving there’s still nothing but respect between her and the band that launched her career.
While the reunion was a total surprise, it didn’t come completely out of nowhere. Back in March, Dinah Jane hinted the girls might have something up their sleeves. “I love that our fans can reminisce on such good times and I love that we’re getting the credit again,” she told Billboard. “Our music was very impactful at the time and I feel like it was kind of overlooked, to be honest. So now that it’s reviving again on its own it just shows our music speaks for itself.”
As for Camila, she didn’t join in on the nostalgic performance — but she has opened up about why she chose to step away years ago. On the
“Call Her Daddy” podcast in March, the “Havana” star admitted, “I had such a passion that turned into writing. And at first I was like, ‘Oh maybe I wanna write for other people.’ But then it turned into like, ‘No, actually I want to sing these songs by myself.’”
She continued, “I started distancing myself from the group vision, and it felt like they were still really passionate and into that and so, I was just like, ‘I’m not happy here anymore, it doesn’t feel aligned.’”
Fifth Harmony officially disbanded in 2018 to pursue solo projects, but the story isn’t over just yet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the girl group has “big plans for 2026,” including a documentary chronicling their return to the stage — and possibly even a new tour.
