Will Smith isn’t taking the claims that he used AI in a recent video of a performance too seriously.

The 56-year-old actor and rapper was previously the subject of some internet scrutiny for a performance video. Many online sleuths closely examined the crowd in the video and began to question whether or not the crowd watching his performance was entirely AI-generated.

Rock band Green Day joined in on the jokes with a video of their own crowd, captioned, “Don’t need A.I. for our crowds.”

Now, Will has shared his good-humored response to the situation.

On Friday (August 29), Will shared another video of himself performing to his Instagram account. In the caption, Will wrote, “Crowd was poppin’ tonite!!”

Referencing the crowd scrutiny in the caption wasn’t Will‘s only reference to the previous crowd video.

In the video itself, the crowd in the new video is made up of AI-generated cats instead of a crowd of actual humans this time. As the camera pans around, the crowd reveals itself to be full of identical brown and white cats bouncing and waving their front paws to the music.

Will is one of many Hollywood stars that have never reached this milestone
