Tom Rhys Harries is getting into character!
The 32-year-old actor joined Eddie Marsan and Tanya Moodie on set of DC film Clayface on Sunday (August 31) in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
t’s the first time Tom was spotted filming scenes for the film, as he’s one of the newest stars in the DC Universe. The film is expected in theaters on September 11, 2026.
The movie is being directed by Speak No Evil director James Watkins.

Tom plays Clayface, a Batman villain who started out as Basil Karlo, a once-famous actor in Gotham. After his career fell apart, he turned to an experimental formula to restore his looks, but it twisted his body into living clay. Now able to shapeshift into anyone, he struggles between revenge, survival, and lost humanity.
Clayface will follow “an ascending actor (Harries) whose face is disfigured by a gangster. As a last resort, the actor turns to a fringe Elizabeth Holmes-style scientist (Naomi Ackie) for help,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
As of earlier this month, another star was also in negotiations to star in the film.
