Teyana Taylor is ready to finally put her divorce from Iman Shumpert behind her.
If you didn’t know, the 34-year-old Straw actress and rapper was married to the 35-year-old former pro basketball player from 2016 until 2023 and their divorce was finalized in June 2024. They share daughters Junie, 9, and Rue, 4.
Teyana was recently ordered to pay Iman $70,000 after violating the terms of their divorce by speaking out publicly about it, according to Us Weekly.
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club on August 27, Teyana said the $70K was the best money she’s “ever spent.”

She went on to refer to the sum as “the best lil’ coin I ever spent in my life,” noting that she’ll “never have to deal with this again.”
Teyana also shared that the public still talks about her divorce, even though it was finalized over a year ago.
“Every single time something amazing is going on in my life, it’s something about this divorce,” Teyana shared. “It don’t be nothing else. I’m never in nothing.”
