Aryna Sabalenka is cracking jokes about her own relationship after a couple got engaged at the US Open.
Love was in the air on Friday (August 29) when a man proposed to his girlfriend during the 27-year-old’s tennis match.
Aryna has been in a relationship with Georgios Frangulis since 2024, but she says there’s “no pressure” on him to propose after this.

After witnessing the engagement during her match on August 29, Aryna shared her well wishes with the happy couple and joked, “I looked at my boyfriend. No pressure!”
During a press conference after the match, Aryna continued with her thoughts on the romantic moment.
“I think it’s the first time that someone proposed during my match, and it was a very sweet moment, but I I was just trying not to start smiling, you know, because it’s very cute and I believe they are super happy right now, but I was trying to keep focusing on my game,” Aryna said.
