Meghan Trainor is owning the red carpet with her stunning new look at The Paper premiere.
The 31-year-old singer stunned fans with her new look at Peacock’s The Paper premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 27. Trainor wore a chic black-and-white shorts set paired with tights and kitten heels, completing the ensemble with her blonde hair pulled into an elegant updo that channeled old Hollywood glamour.
Trainor was joined by her husband, Daryl Sabara, 33, who matched her in an all-black outfit. The couple, married since 2019, shared plenty of PDA on the red carpet, reminding everyone that love is still very much alive. The pair also share two sons, Riley, 4, and Barry, 2.
Trainor’s weight loss journey has been widely discussed, particularly after she shared her breast augmentation and lift in March. In April, she revealed on her “Workin’ On It” podcast that she and Sabara had turned to GLP-1 drugs to help shed pounds.

“We did 75 Hard after [our son] Riley was born and, man, did we crush,” Trainor explained. “Then, we heard more and more of our friends — and even our doctors — were on Mounjaro and Ozempic.” She added, “I was like, ‘I don’t want any of that,’ and ‘I know how to do it on my own.’ I could do that, but when I asked my doctor, I was like, ‘Tell me everything.’ I did the research, and I felt safe.”
Because they “do everything together,” Sabara joined Trainor on the weight-loss journey. “I also gained some [sympathy] pregnancy weight,” he admitted. “We’ve been on this journey for a while and we learned how there are right ways to do it.”
Trainor reflected on her transformation after being honored by Billboard Women in Music as a Hitmaker in March 2025. “What a dream!” she wrote on Instagram, adding that it was “a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here. This is what it’s like to be a woman in the music industry.”
“No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago. I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me. I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great,” she continued.
Trainor concluded, “Here’s to celebrating talent, growth, and the power of putting yourself first. Let’s keep shifting the convo to what REALLY matters.”
