    Taylor Kitsch Shares Advice For Cast of Upcoming ‘Friday Night Lights’ Reboot

    Taylor Kitsch has some advice for the incoming cast of the Friday Night Lights reboot.

    If you missed it, late last year it was announced that a reboot was in the works from the creator and producers of the original series.

    The 44-year-old actor starred in all five seasons of the series, playing fullback/running back Tim Riggins.

    In a recent interview, Taylor shared some good advice for whoever gets cast in the Peacock reboot series, which has yet to have an update since the initial announcement.

    “Have fun, don’t worry about if it’s going to be big or not, just take absolute ownership of whatever character you’re given,” he told People at the premiere of his new series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. “Take risks, and enjoy it because it’s not gonna last forever.”

    Earlier this year, Taylor revealed he was asked to return for the reboot, but a few weeks ago, he noted that he will not be coming back.

    Friday Night Lights was based on the book by H.G. Bissinger and the 2004 Tim McGraw-starring movie, taking place in the fictional town of Dillon in rural west Texas, following a high school football team led by Coach Eric Taylor, played by Kyle Chandler.
