Sydney Sweeney has been the subject of lots of backlash lately and now comedian Matt Rife, who is no stranger to internet hate, is coming to her defense.
The comedian decided to speak out after seeing Sydney defend her recent bathwater soap. In addition to that controversy, she recently was the subject of headlines because of her American Eagle jeans ad.
Amid the controversies, Sydney‘s new movie Americana debuted with extremely low numbers at the box office.

“I keep seeing people mad at Sydney Sweeney for noooothing 🙄 She’s learning that the internet is full of absolute garbage losers who will twist anything you say into a cunty misinterpretation 😮💨 people are awful,” he tweeted.
Matt recently starred in an ad campaign for E.l.f. Cosmetics and the brand received backlash for including him due to his past jokes about domestic violence.
