Justin Baldoni is responding to Isabela Ferrer‘s accusations.
If you don’t know, she played the younger version of Blake Lively‘s character Lily in the movie It Ends With Us, and accused her director of bullying and harassing her amid the legal battle surrounding the two leads.
For context, following an initial subpoena from Blake months ago, Isabela’s legal team contacted Wayfarer Studios, which is Justin Baldoni’s production company, requesting reimbursement for her legal expenses, as outlined in her contract for the film. According to Isabela’s team, the company responded by insisting she “relinquish control of her response to the Lively subpoena to Wayfarer” in order to receive payment.
“Since then, Mr. Baldoni has attempted to exert control over Ms. Ferrer through manipulation, intimidation, and other inappropriate conduct,” her attorneys alleged.
Now, Justin has responded.

In his court filing on Monday (August 18), Justin‘s team wrote that her “opposition is primarily an inappropriate attack upon Mr. Baldoni and his counsel relating to matters not before the Court and irrelevant,” via People.
In addition, his legal team stated in a recent filing that Isabela was issued a subpoena in order to obtain “documents that she either neglected to produce or were not requested by” the one previously served to her by Blake‘s team in February.
His new filing also responds to her claim that him trying to subpoena her is harassment. He shot this down in the filing.
In January, Justin actually publicly shared a text exchange he had with Isabela.
