It’s been a while since Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have been spotted together, and naturally, fans have started speculating that Hollywood’s most unexpected power couple may have called it quits. The rumors only heated up after Timothée skipped Kylie’s birthday celebrations earlier this month. But don’t worry, a source told People that the couple is still very much together — they’re simply navigating the realities of long distance and jam-packed schedules.
“They haven’t seen each other for a few weeks only because Timothée’s been filming Dune: Messiah in a studio in Budapest, and Kylie’s been working too,” a source told the outlet, noting that “She visited him in July.”
Though Kylie could hop on her private jet, the insider explained why it isn’t so simple: “even though Kylie has a private jet, the flight is still 12 hours. She’s a mom and she works as well. She has a lot of responsibilities in LA. Timothée’s schedule is grueling, with very little downtime.”
Still, they’re putting in the effort to stay connected. “They’re making it work though. They FaceTime most days. They miss each other and are totally fine,” the source adds.
And Timothée’s packed itinerary isn’t slowing down anytime soon. After Budapest, he’s expected to head to Jordan and Abu Dhabi for more filming. But despite the challenges, the couple has found a rhythm. As a source previously told People, they are “used to this kind of schedule,” adding that Kylie “will fly to see him when she can” during Dune production and that “they’re still very happy and just making it work.”
Kylie and Timothée’s romance has been a hot topic since rumors first surfaced in April 2023, when celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi shared a tip that the two were dating. At the time, fans were stunned by the pairing, but the speculation only grew when the duo was seen visiting each other’s homes.
By September 2023, the whispers turned into confirmation when Kylie and Timothée made their first major public appearance as a couple at the U.S. Open. The two weren’t shy about their PDA, officially cementing their relationship in the public eye. In January 2024, they continued their joint red carpet streak at the Golden Globe Awards, proving they weren’t just a short-term fling. She’s since been seen at several award shows with the Dune actor.
Fast forward to May 2025, and the couple made another huge milestone: their official red carpet debut at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome.
