The Gilded Age recently ended season 3 on a strong note, with 5 million viewers tuning into the finale over the first 3 days it was available. For the fifth straight week, the show broke its own series-high viewership record.
The cast has shared that they expected the show to be cancelled after the second season due to plateaued viewership, but the last half of season 2 saw a ratings spike which resulted in a renewal. The show has now been renewed for season 4.
