Catherine Zeta-Jones is opening up about her lifestyle with husband Michael Douglas.
The 55-year-old Wednesday star recently spoke with The Sunday Times about the four homes she and her 80-year-old husband own together: homes located in Canada, Spain, and two in New York.
“I know it sounds very jet set, and I love to surround myself with beauty but it’s not excessive, it’s very comfortable,” Catherine explained.

Although she’s known for her glamorous style, Catherine insisted she keeps things simple when it comes to everyday fashion.
“For me, a pair of jeans is a pair of jeans. Spending £200 ($270) on a white T-shirt? Nah. But when it comes to couture, beautiful beading, the artistry … I love the theatre of fashion,” she said, adding that she often browses Paris vintage shops for unique pieces.
The actress also reflected on her upbringing in Swansea, Wales, where her father worked in a candy factory before buying it after a bingo win of over $135,000. That prize money funded Catherine’s dance lessons and set her on a path toward stardom.
“It feels like a very precocious thing, and I don’t know where it comes from, but I’d say it out loud, ‘I want to be on the stage.’ I was a bit of a prodigy,” she shared.
Catherine and Michael tied the knot in 2000 and share two children: son Dylan, 25, and daughter Carys, 22. Michael also shares son Cameron, 46, with ex-wife Diandra Luker.
One of their most famous homes is the S’Estaca estate in Mallorca, Spain, which he purchased in 1990 and once co-owned with Diandra. After years of dividing the property, he confirmed in 2021 that it is now fully his and Catherine’s, calling the island “magical” and saying, “My children will continue to come and my grandchildren and their children. I am sure that for generations this island will be theirs.”
