- This week, a saga went viral about a woman named Kendra who fell in love with her psychiatrist. She had a meltdown because her psychiatrist did not reciprocate, but did keep her on as a client. (This is perfectly legal, btw.) Rightly, many other mental health professionals and people with mental illness chimed in to state how unhinged her behavior is. Kendra says that the people calling her out are actually DARVO-ing her, which is when abusers claim that the victim is abusive.
- A Russian influencer broke her spine doing the Nicki Minaj challenge.
- If you missed yesterday’s post, the police report about influencer Emily Kiser and Brady Kiser’s son, Trigg, was released. [CW: death details.].While Emily was gone, Brady left Trigg, 3, unattended for 10 minutes by their unfenced pool while Brady made a sports bet and watched a basketball game. The DA has decided not to press charges.
- Alix Earle confirmed that she has a feud with Alexandra Cooper. If you do not know about about these identical blonde idiots, I envy you.
- Amberlynn Reid went on live and had a meltdown over her ex. Her ex allegedly has a video of Amber being physically abusive. Amber also claims that her ex would call her Porkahontas. Oh, also, she got another kitten after letting her cat escape.
- Cardi B “jokingly” called her fans “fat fucks” after her plus-sized merchandize was sold out. When a plus-sized influencer named Samyra called her out, Cardi then made a defensive video telling her to “shut the fuck up” about it. Now Samyra had to step away from social media because Cardi’s stans are harassing her.
- Shitty parent alert: Three little boys loaded up bags filled with merchandise to shoplift from a Dallas Walgreens, then threatened and cussed at the workers. And a little girl at a mall was kicked out of a store for shoplifting, then walked up an escalator to hit, punch, and kick two women. The kids from the first incident are black; the girl from the second is white. TikTok responded with a whooole bunch of criticism and racism for the little boys, but they praised the girl for her sassiness and nicknamed her Junie B. Jones. HmmmmmmmmmmmT, I wonder why that is?
- Weird parent alert: A mom broke down weeping because her son’s kindergarten classroom wasn’t aesthetically pleasing enough for her.
- DRAMA at the Orange County tablescape competition! It is a competition where people create elaborate table settings built around a certain theme. One man competed and said that everyone was nice except for the woman next to him…who ended up winning? She left a passive-aggressive comment saying, “Bless your heart…I don’t make table settings to make friends, I do it for blue ribbons.” (OP: Honestly, that’s cunt.)
- BookTok author Audra Winter self-published her debut novel, The Age of Scorpius, to a great deal of viral hype…until people actually read it. Then, it seems like all of BookTok was panning it for its crappy writing, including basic spelling and grammatical errors. Goodreads even froze the page for the book because of all the one-star reviews.
