Amy Schumer says she’s on the mend following surgery to repair a spinal injury!
The 44-year-old actress and comedian shared a photo to her Instagram on Friday (August 8) posing with a walker. In the caption, she revealed that she had undergone a surgical procedure to repair a spine injury and joked about her plans to go bra shopping after she recovers.

It’s a short recovery and when I’m feeling better I will buy a bra!” Amy captioned the photo of herself standing with the help of a walker. In the photo, Amy is rocking a comfortable post-surgery outfit of a sweater and pair of colorful sweatpants.
Mayo Clinic says that a laminectomy, the procedure Amy says she underwent, removes the back arch of a spinal bone. This procedure makes the spinal canal larger, relieving pressure on one’s nerves or spinal cord.
