Episode 3 of Project Runway‘s 21st season officially aired on August 7th. Contestant Utica Queen (Ethan Mundt) attended a live viewing party at Roscoe’s Tavern in Chicago, IL, hosted by drag queen Ari Gato and revealed some very interesting tidbits about this episode.
Some select spoilers/takeaways from this episode will be below the cut, but rest assured that we do not know who was eliminated at this time. In typical Project Runway fashion (get it?), the start of every new episode features the departure of the eliminated designer.

• Utica’s team was allegedly told by production that guest judge Sofia Vergara may not even wear the winning look, so they were told not to take that into consideration.
• Production advised Utica to dress in drag for the episode, ultimately leading to… that interaction with Law Roach. Utica stated that she had 6 hours of downtime to sleep before having to wake up early to get into drag.
• Utica considered breaking up the twins at first, but really admired Yuchen Han and wanted them on her team first and foremost. She stated that designer Belania Daley made her favorite look from this episode.
