HBO has released the stills for the season three finale of The Gilded Age – just one day after that major shocking shooting!
Spoilers ahead! If you didn’t catch last night’s episode, Morgan Spector‘s George Russell was seemingly shot in the last moments.
The finale is set to air on Sunday night (August 10) with season four already ordered.
Now, in examining the photos, there’s a few things we can deduce.

1. It appears as if Bertha (Carrie Coon) might be throwing the end of season event after all, as it seems as if there’s a lot of photos of guests all dressed up. Could this be a clue about the fate of George?
2. George does not appear in any of the images released by HBO.
3. Peggy (Denée Benton) is dancing with someone else at the event, but Dr. Kirkland (Jordan Donica) seems to be in attendance amid their drama from the latest episode.
4. Marian (Louisa Jacobson) and Larry (Harry Richardson) have reunited. Does this signal that the engagement is back on?
5. Turner (aka Mrs. Enid Winterton) – played by Kelley Curran – is back! She’s seen arm-in-arm with Oscar (Blake Ritson) at the ball.
6. Gladys (Taissa Farmiga) and Hector (Ben Lamb) have made it back in time for the ball.
7. Aurora (Kelli O’Hara) was invited and seems to attend, despite her divorce.
