-Hunting Wives has premiered on Netflix this past week. It revolves around Sophie O’Neil (Brittany Snow) and her family’s move from the East Coast to deep East Texas, where she succumbs to republican socialite Margo Bank’s (Malin Åkerman) and her fellow circle of housewives irresistible charms – and finds her life consumed by obsession, seduction and murder.
-The series was originally produced for STARZ but after Lionsgate split its studios into Starz/Lionsgate Studios (sound familiar…WB/Discovery), Lionsgate sold the show to Netflix in the US and various overseas studios.
-It has gained a lot of online attention and tops US Netflix charts due to the racy nature of the series that basically mixes Desperate Housewives with The L Word. Housewives who have secrets and who sleep with each other instead of sleeping with each others men.
