Soulja Boy was arrested.
The 35-year-old “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” rapper was a passenger in a car that was pulled over at Melrose and Genesee in Los Angeles at 2:35 am on Sunday morning (July 3), Variety reports.
During the traffic stop, he arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm when a gun was spotted in the car.
It’s currently unclear what prompted the traffic stop in the first place, and details about the firearm or whether anyone else was involved remain unclear as well, according to TMZ.
