Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are officially an item.
“Pamela and Liam are dating,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, noting that The Naked Gun costars, who met on set, “always had chemistry while they were filming and their friendship naturally developed into more.”
Taking their relationship to the next level is “new” for the pair, who are “learning how to navigate it together” as they continue to promote their new film, the insider says. “They are both shy and have tried to stay private but the spark between them is obvious.”
Anderson’s sons, meanwhile, “love seeing her happy and fully approve.” The insider notes that the guys “think Liam is great and have gotten to know him better in the last few months.”
The Baywatch alum, 58, shares sons Brandon Thomas Lee, 29, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 27, with ex-husband Tommy Lee. Both were in attendance for The Naked Gun’s New York City premiere on Monday, July 28, where the trio posed on the red carpet alongside Neeson, 73, with his two sons. (Neeson shared Micheál, 30, and Daniel, 28, with late wife Natasha Richardson, who died in 2009 at the age of 45.)
When asked about his mom’s sparks with the Taken star on Monday, Brandon played coy on where things stood — but praised the duo’s performance on screen.
“I just think they’re such great costars,” he told Access Hollywood. “They have such a great onscreen chemistry. It means it’s well done. … They both did such an amazing job. And it’s actually really cool to see both of them in their comedic element.”

Anderson and Neeson portray Beth Davenport and Frank Drebin Jr., respectively, in The Naked Gun. The film — a legacy sequel of the beloved ‘90s action-comedy starring Leslie Nielsen — follows Frank as he takes on his father’s police squad and is tasked with a mission that will save the world.
Whispers of a romance between the costars began in December 2024 when Neeson told People that he was “madly in love” with Anderson. Speculation only grew when the twosome interviewed each other for the outlet earlier this month and were asked their first impressions.
“I thought, ‘Oh my god, she is so easy on the eyes,’” Neeson recalled thinking, telling Anderson, “I was really taken with your ‘thereness.’ You were absolutely there. They was no [brushing me off], I knew we had kind of a chemistry from very early on.”
Anderson agreed there was a “chemistry right away” on set. “I was just curious where it was going to take us in the film,” she said. “It was really a nice start.”
Romance rumors were fueled further at the film’s London premiere on July 22, where the couple were seen sharing some public affection. After holding hands while walking the red carpet, Anderson reached up to plant a kiss on Neeson’s cheek. History nearly repeated itself in NYC on Monday, as they almost kissed again but turned their heads just before their lips connected.
While appearing on Today on Tuesday, July 29, Anderson and Neeson both chose to stay mum when asked if they are an “item.”
Anderson, for her part, pretended not to “understand” the question, while Neeson said, “I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry — as two actors.”
