Al Calderon is leaving Days of Our Lives!
The 31-year-old actor has been portraying Javi Hernandez on the Peacock soap opera since February 2024, but he recently booked a new role on an NBC primetime series.
Following his exit from the soap, Deadline confirms that his Days character isn’t going anywhere, and the role will be recast.

“We do not comment on the contract status of our actors, but fans should not worry, Javi is alive and well in Salem,” reps for the soap opera shared in a statement.
Have no fear though, Al will still be seen as Javi on the show through May 2026, as episodes are filmed way in advance!
