Has ‘Next Gen NYC’ Been Renewed for Season 2?

Bravo has yet to make any announcements about the state of a Next Gen NYC renewal. But based on the success of season 1, the odds are in Next Gen’s favor.

Who Will Star in ‘Next Gen NYC’ Season 2?

While no official casting announcements have been made, it would make sense for the producers to bring back all of the popular season 1 cast. The main cast of Next Gen NYC consists of the following:

    • Ariana Biermann: the daughter of Kim Zolciak-Biermann from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, who left the South for the first time to follow her dreams to NYC.
    • Riley Burruss: Another RHOA legacy, Riley is the daughter of Kandi Burruss, but has been in NYC for a few years already — she recently graduated from NYU. She’s trying to find her passion — maybe one that lets her avoid working a 9-to-5 job.
    • Ava Dash: The daughter of music mogul Damon Dash and fashion icon Rachel Roy, Ava is now following in her mom’s footsteps and pursuing modeling full-time.
    • Emira D’Spain: Already a fashion icon in her own right, this beauty influencer is one of NYC’s most successful content creators. She was born in Dubai and raised in Dallas, and she’s got ambition and hustle to spare.
    • Shai Fruchter: Shai was on the go his whole life, growing up constantly moving between Israel and China before eventually going to a suburban New Jersey high school. He’s something of a newcomer to this world of NYC socialites.
    • Gia Giudice: The daughter of RHONJ star Teresa Giudice, Gia is a Jersey girl who’s juggling her long-distance boyfriend, Christian, in NJ with the pull of Manhattan life.
    • Brooks Marks: The son of RHSLC personality Meredith Marks, Brooks grew into the spotlight when his mother started to get famous. He is now a fashion entrepreneur who is often caught up in the other group members’ drama as well as his own.
    • Georgia McCann: A brand and events strategist, Georgia is a social architect who rules the downtown NYC scene. She’s a fourth-generation New Yorker who is passionate about preserving the city’s unique personality.
    • Hudson McLeroy: An Atlanta investor who’s been on-again, off-again with Ariana for years, Hudson has struggled with the cultural differences between Southern charm and NYC attitude.
    • Charlie Zakkour: Charlie has been a New York socialite since he started hitting the clubs at age 14. He’s a crypto trader and private investor. He’s also very close to Ava.

The show also featured frequent appearances from “friends of the cast” Chloe Marks (Brooks’ sister) and Dylan Geick (an influencer, writer and wrestler).

How Did Season 1 End? (Spoilers!)

By the end of season 1, Ariana and Hudson were back together, while Riley had reached a sense of peace with her single life and uncertain plans for the future. Brooks had left his mom’s fashion company to start his own brand and was in a happy relationship with his boyfriend Kade. Gia and Christian were still going strong and discussing a future engagement. Emira was also in a happy relationship with her boyfriend, Kevin Stefanick.

Ava was in a new relationship and discussing moving in with her boyfriend, Hook. In other cohabitation news, Charlie and Georgia surprised their friends by becoming roommates after Georgia broke up with her boyfriend Omar. But that roommate situation led to some serious drama, and by the end of the season, they were barely speaking to each other. Shai was also clashing with the friend group — in fact, he took a step back from the social scene. Fans theorize that Shai might be the only cast member not to return for a second season.

When Will ‘Next Gen NYC’ Return?

As the show is still awaiting an official renewal, there are no hard dates set for a season 2 premiere. But keep an eye on this page — Watch With Us will keep you posted on announcements as they come!
