– It has nothing to do with the Paramount merger, just like their selling out 60 Minutes and paying Trump for hurt feelings or whatever.
– They say it has nothing to do with ratings or performance (he’s the highest-rated late night host), it’s just a cost-cutting move and the changing late night landscape. The show will end in May
– Definitely not a political purge to get approval for the Paramount merger. And there won’t be more.
