Former 16 and Pregnant star Whitney Purvis (33) was arrested for felony involuntary manslaughter in Floyd County, Georgia, on Monday, July 7.
People reports that she was also charged with distribution of a controlled substance and use of a communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances.
The alleged victim is John M. Harris. Purvis is accused of giving Harris a substance known as ‘Tranq’ (Xylazine and Fentanyl). Harris had an overdose and later died.
Sadly, last month, her 16 year old son Weston died suddenly. The cause of death is unknown and the family is waiting on the autopsy.
